Starting to think about a used mini backhoe for small projects. Something to dig holes, minimal grading and maybe spread some stone. Does anyone have any experience with Allmand Brothers equiptment? Any other manufacturer suggestions?

Kubota all the way!!!!! I rather have one of these any day with a million hours over any American version.

I like the Kubota BX24. I have not seen any (used machines) older than 2005, any idea of what the predecessor was to that model?

Those little Kubota's are awesome if you have space to move around, otherwise a small skid would be better suited.

do not. and i mean do not get an allmand bros backhoe. We rented one from homedepot and it broke 4 times..we have rented 6 different ones and tried the kubota. It is way better, but the parts are expensive. Anyone heard about the kioti?
