Was wondering what's your threshold for not enough wind coming off of your blower.

On a backpack blower, what is the minimum windspeed you guys will use? 150, 185? 200?

I'd be concentrating on the CFM's at the tubes instead of airspeed. Depending on what you want to do with it the basic rule of thumb is get the biggest you can afford. If I was cutting commercially I'd not hesitate a sec and pic up the RMax 8000. I have a Husky 145 that is perfect for my own property. 99% of my uses is simply to blow grass off my sidewalk, drive, patio, beds, etc... I don't use it for big leaf cleanups. If you are looking for all around versatility I'd say you should be in the 500CFM + range at the tubes for anything that you are using commercially. I believe mine is around 380 or so.....
