If it were to stay dry after the warm up... I was hoping to get going mid - late next week but I might be getting ahead of myself there.

Soil temps will be in the 50s next week, so as long as it's dry, we'll be doing pre-em apps, clean ups/dethatching, & aeration as soon as possible next week. My plan is to get all clean ups, aerations, & pre-em apps done as soon as possible then while in the mean time with the grass not growing at that time, get at the irri & landscape installs that are lined up.

I'm on your schedule minus the pre-em apps. Looks like we might see some rain a couple days next week though.

That's what I saw also, looks like rain for sure mon-tues and then a cold front comes in mid week and temps are below 50, that sucks!

    Hey fellow PS guys!

We will be starting Round 1 next monday, cleanups hopefully next Weds depending on if it rains and ground moisture. Looks like we will be sending our aerating guy out for PE for a week or so to help get caught up before starting aerations.

Plows gettin washed and fluid filmed as soon as someone gets back to the office. Im stuck here answering calls and browsing LS :)

I really don't see the ground temps hitting 50 next week.

I think it maybe alittle off. Even in a regular season grounds temps would be close now. I can see rochester. Getting there but not north metro.

How have sales been for you guys with this weather? What are you doing to obtain residential accounts? How was bidding commercials this season so far?

After doubling sales last year (I wasn't small then so the double was a good chunk of change, bought 1 biz and took over another) I'm content on seeing 20 to 30 percent growth this year which still is really good. Most of the growth this year is based off of late pick ups last season though.

I should have 10 irrigation install deposits in hand pretty soon. On the mowing side it's been a average year. Mostly word of month, some commercial's called me from seeing my trucks last year.

I'm just trying to maintain what I have, enjoy the profits, and re-engerize for some good growth next year.
