It's at the point where fuel is over $.50/mi, when pulling real heavy & lots of stoplights, its over the $.554/mi IRS mileage expense mile. They better bump up the mileage expense!!!

I was wondering if any of you guys here in the Twins Cities area could recommend me a good insurance provider. I just got my renewal quote for this year ** Last years price $5700.00 liability , business , auto and work comp . 2013 price $9,553.12 with no accidents or claims. In fact I have never made a claim and I have been in business for 9 years.

I use Hatzung insurance out of st. Louis park. Great insurance broker. Talk to Dave Hatzung and tell him Mike Cody sent you.

Are you guys mowing in all this rain??? I am falling so far behind I am thinking about renting 15 mowers and getting a bunch of kids from high school, I will claim it career day, I am willing to bet not one will think "This is what I want to do when I grow up." I also love the calls, "just wondering when you are going to spray our lawn?", Does you house have windows? have you seen that if it has not been blowing 30 MPH its been raining oh yea and we got screwed out of 3 weeks this spring, I'll be right there........:mad::cry::gunsfirin:realmad::wall

Haven't mowed anything this week yet except my own lawn, I'm sure when they get done Thurs, the grass will be 8" tall. We've been doing mulch installs this week thus far. More aerating tomorrow with 1 property to dethatch also. Thankfully my clients have been understanding in regards to weather. I don't think I'd be able to handle having people ask when the lawn was going to be sprayed when it's been raining for almost a week. :hammerhead:

This year sucked for spraying holy crap. Just finished round 1 and had to put herbicide in the tankers because all of the dandies. Have you guys finished up round 1 yet?

We only have a 4 day route for mowing as we just started a few years back (roughly 55 customers) and havent had a routine route yet. everything has been COMPLETLY weather dependent.. yikes

In other news, more rain

Just wrapping up on round 1... had to spend extra and opt for the pre and post emergent... soil temps are still wacky with this weather...
