What do you do if a potential customer call is missed and they don't leave a message, but you have their number and can look up where they live..Do you call them back? Send them a "Sorry We Missed You" postcard? Or forget about it because they should call back again. Any suggestions?

Remember they didn't leave a message...

I will only call back if I can do so within 10 or 15 minutes. After that-I'll let it go, too.

    That's good question.

I have wondered about the same thing. We have caller ID, so if someone doesn't leave a message, I look to see who called.
We have never called anyone back though. I would feel uncomfortable doing so. Most of the time, they end up calling back anyway.

That's how I feel also, if they don't call back I guess I missed an opportunity. I think I would be afraid they would tell me I should've been there and I would have got the business instead of the next guy. Win some lose some I guess. People are pretty good about trying back later though.

If I recognize the number from the caller ID I will call them back with some excuse, makes em think Im psychic lol. If I dont recognize it just let it go.

I never recognize potential customer numbers...I know my current customer somewhat.

With ID I can get any name with any number....

I just don't like the the chance of missing potential new clientale.

If you did call back what would you say?

Personally I would call it as a telemarketing lead as opposed to saw it on the caller id. Play dumb (kinda easy for me.) Hi Mrs Jones, i was wondering if you were in need of any.....

I do like the sorry we missed you card.

I never call back they usually they call again.

Example; Had a friend that call a potential customer back he used
the caller Id and called her job she told him off.

He never heard from her again!!!!!!!!
