guys i normally use something like acclaim,Q4 , solitare when spraying crabgrass for customers ( normally a blanket for CG,sedge, and weeds)
.... just sitting around reading through some different labels i see that Crabgrass, LG and Smooth, is listed on the label and wanted to know if anyone has had any luck with it for crabgrass?

Mometum Q is the same as Q4 minus the sulfentrazone for nutsege. Works great for crabgrass. if they charge you over $186 for a 2.5 gallon jug your paying to much.

The active ingrediant in Q4, drive75 and monetum Q that controls crabgrass is all the same (quinclorac). I cant speak for acclaim as I have never used it.

You say if someone pays over $186 they are paying too much. I would have to think that the amount you spend would dictate the price you would pay. Should a one man operation pay the same amount as someone who has 10 crews??? I don't expect to pay the same being a smaller company then some of you who spend quite a bit more. I read many posts on here and have for years. Some of you are knowledgable and aren't afriad to help others. Pricing is a sensitive issue for all of us. I do know that the pricing is and should be different based on customer size.

Should pricing be difrent based on customer size? Yes to an extent I would say. At the same time I think lesco takes it way to far with some things being twice the price or more from one guy to the next.

If someone is paying double, I agree, unless it is a homeowner. LIke I said, I would love to get some product cheaper, but I certainly don't expect to get anywhere close to price of someone spending quite a bit more than myself. It's like with Fertilizer. If I purchase a skid, is it fair that I get anywhere close to the same price as someone who buys a truckload like a couple friends and competitors of mine?? What would bother me more is if I spend more than another company and he gets a better price.

The weather was too hot and dry that lawns would get burned if MoQ was not watered in.. I think the best thing for crabgrass is keep drive 75 but, use Bayer's 320z jug for under $10. It kills soo much more and only $100 for 2.5 gal
