Monocot weed id

    Need help with ID What is this pops up in my lawn in only a few spots hard to control with speed zone??

    Considering that Speedzone is for broadleaf weed control....that is probably why it doesn't work well on GRASSY weeds!

    Kentucky blue and fescue i think

    How about giving us a better picture, (including roots) and description. I like a description of auricles, ligules, collar, and vernation. Be sure to rule out the commonest ones like quackgrass, timothy, orchard grass and tall fescue.
