I am now bidding on a huge area that is approximately 8 or 9 acres. The mowing is not rough, and it will only be cut to 5 inches, it will be mowed 1 time per month and i wanted to know about how much per sq. ft. or acre, or hourly or how do you thik i should charge it, what is the best way? I would be doing 1 1/2 acres of weekly mowing, but wanted to know about the monthly mowing. Thanks

I am not familiar with the prices in your area, but where I operate my business, we get between $60-$75 an acre depending upon how much string trimming there is to do. Hope this helps you

First thing first in Indiana you would need to get a tractor and bush hog to do the once a month mowing. If you would use a regular mower you will just burning belts. Your customer will not be concerned of quality of cut. If they only want monthly mowing done. If we would bush hog it appx. $450.00 per time.
