More expensive? Time or Chemical?

Here's a question for everyone. I've had discussions with a couple of applicators about products like Q4 by pbi gordon. It's an all in one product that does broadleaf, nutsedge, and crabgrass. It is expensive though.

    What's better:
Not having to mix chemical as you go only using what you need but taking the time to do so.
Paying the money upfront and using a all-in-one and possibly wasting a certain amount of product when only spraying for crab and/or nutsedge.

I haven't taken the time to do the cost analysis so i was wondering if anyone had or just had some insight.

i was told its about 100 bucks for a gal so at the low rate of 2.6 oz per k it works out to be 2.03 per 1000 sq ft not cheep but it works nice
