So I cannot get the top bolt off the middle pulley so I change out the housing and spindle. I've tried everything I can think of, impact wrench and it's not coming off. Has anyone had this problem? Could I take a grinder to the bolt i guess as long as I didn't damage the pulley. Think that would work?

Use a torch. Heat up the bolt until almost red hot, then pour water on it to "quench" the nut. The idea is to expand the nut with heat and keep the stud the same size through the water
