I have a customer with a large brick patio, and she has a big moss issue growing up thru the cracks in the brick. I've already told her the best way to combat the issue is the get more light to the area and to keep it dry, but told her I would also research any products available to kill off what is already there. Any suggestions? Yes, I am licensed.

Zinc sulfate will kill the moss without staining concerns. It is slow and the moss will take months to disappear. Repeated treatments will keep it under wraps though. Zinc can be toxic to plant material at high rates so be careful. Neal
