Very cool! ty for posting the pics.
Count me among those who think this'd be outstanding if it could accomodate a 52. On the other hand, I've also pondered a mini-trailer that would be just large enough to hold a 52 and a 21 and that's it. Too bad I have to use this Metro 36 so often.
Ah... a turf tracer is not that heavy at all.
A compact truck setup like this can be made to hold the 52"
Thats a cool little rig you got. I would love to get one of those for my F-250 also. I wonder if they make one that can dump. That would be perfect. Don't leave us hanging make with the specs and pricing.
Thats a cool little truck if you are only carring little equipment like 21inch mowers.
I got this one for $1550 and it is just about the same as JustMowIt In fact they gave me the number and contact to Prime Trailers in Mckinney Texas ask for Gary or Jeremy . They can paint it whatever color you need included in the price. It has worked great for me. I have only had it in service fo a week or so. I am no longer worried about being in the truck with the crew. I always thought a trailer was too much liability for the unskilled driver. Plus cuts down on gas. It will fit 3 guys. No bungies needed for the mowers. There is a little piece of angle iron behind the rear wheel of the second mower on the right and the single left mower.
I probably will extend the gate a little further to make it hit the ground and to decrease the angle of ascent. It is a bit of booger getting the mowers up it and going down is a bit rough taking the 4 inch drop when you are tired a the end of the day and lazy. I am worried about the life of the wheels. So I probably will get the ramp extended.
Do they make these conversions for trucks with long beds? I'd think they would, but every pic I've ever seen of them looks like they've replaced a standard bed.
Here you fellas go. With the routing we have on our good days we can do yards in 14 minutes including drive time. This truck definately cuts off some of the downtime.
One more round of pics and that's it.
Prime Trailers in Mckinney will build whatever you want. They may need to keep your truck for a few days to do measurements. Also Make sure they write down specific instructions. The more info they have the more pleased you will be with the final product.
