I've got a Bobcat walk behind w/ 17 Hp Kawasaki on it and have seen some discussion on whether or not it's best to engage the mower lever while at low or high throttle. Thanks in advance and I bought it used and don't have an owners manual to look it up in...

I also have a bobcat 48" w/b I looked in my manual and it doesent say anything about it. I do it at full throttle and never had a problem for the last 3 yrs. hope this helps.

my scag turf tiger, i engage on half rpm's and once the blades engage, full throttle. i've heard both ways, but if i try at low rpm, will stall, especially if cold. i have the driveshaft on mine, so i don't know if that makes a difference.
