what to do if eng under water to get back in service?
Change the oil several times and see if it will start
ok thanks first time for me
Let everything dry out real good. Drain oil, change air filter, remove spark plug. Crank engine and see if any water comes out plug hole/s. Make sure no water is in cylinders, then put in new plug/or plugs. With fresh oil in crankcase, try to start engine. Hopefully it will start. Run engine maybe 2 or 3 minutes, then change oil and filter again. Restart, run until oil gets hot, then change oil one more time. Now you should be all set. Good luck.
And dont forget to drain the fuel tank and maybe add some type of water disperser to it and replace the fuel filter
If engine starts, don't forget the rest of the mower. trans, hydro ect.
Hey, we want to hear the story about how the mower got in the pond in the first place!
