mower problems

    oh and theres a red and a black wire comin off the stator.

    OK, Lets start from the top.

    You now have everything wired as per my instructions, So since the above isn't true the last step would be running a wire from the positive battery post WITH a 20 amp in-line fuse holder to the "B" post on the ignition switch.

    The red stator wire will hook to the "L" post with the carb solenoid BUT if hooked up without the diode in place you will smoke the stator and have to replace it.

    ok thanks. the diode was gone cuz she started cookin. so now 30 bucks and she will be runnin!

    It will run NOW but it just won't keep the battery charged until the stator is replaced/hooked up.

    yea i know, but its not really worth ridin if it will only last a minute or two.

    Once you crank it the only thing drawing power from the battery is the fuel cut-off solenoid, On a fully charged battery it should run quite a long time until the battery needs a re-charge.

    How long does it take to go get wood ?

    yea good point. i should work out well then untill i get the money.
