What it really breaks down to is what size output shaft is on this mower and your current, how long, is it keyed, is it threaded at the end? So long as the shafts are the same, the engines should work. Also be sure that the second engine will be able to fit around everything and be hooked up to gas tank etc. good luck

Yeah, just check the diamitaor of the shaft and make sure they are identical. Then also check the mounting bolt size/configuration, make sure it matches. Good luck.

You'd have to disassemble the intire engine to change out the crank-shaft. You'd probably also end up making one. So if you ever needed to do this a different engine might just be the best thing. I'm not sure what the MSRP is, but it sounds like a good buy. Good luck Mexiking.
