Mowing an acre with a Toro self propelled. The front yard is a pretty good sized hill that a little Snapper 9hp rear engine could not handle. Anyway the front yard is kicking my butt, knees and ankles. Any suggestions for a mower? I am kind of looking at a walk-behind type with a sulke. Thanks. :dizzy:

If you want stability on a hill, a stander would be a good idea, but they are not especially affordable. What's your $$ range?

I would go with a hydro walk behind mower minus the velke. More control will be gained when you are walking behind at a safe speed. The velke tends to make you want to go faster than you should be.

Go side to side and be safe!
