I have a 05 lazer Z 27hp with 60" deck and have trouble in the spring and early summer cutting clover. It wants to leave alot of the white flower buds uncut and still standing that I have to make extra passes to get them cut. Any ideas what I might try if any.

Mowing slower also try spraying or fertilizing your lawns so you dont have weeds in them.

This is a common problem with any mower, they aren't designed to cut things like this, especially dandelions.

The best thing you can do is run a razor sharp blade everyday, a little douvle pass is normal.
