With all the talk of high fuel prices. Are there any of you solo's lucky enough to mow a couple of days without ever leaving your own neighborhood?

I have 2 in my neighborhood, one next door, another across the street a house down. I have one house in the neighborhood next to me and two in the neighbor hood across the street. I can do all five and put less that 1 mile on the truck, including going to ends of streets to turn around. Not bad as 4 are 50 per cut houses and one 80 per cut house.

I'm REAL lucky here...I do my HOA plus 19 homes in my neighborhood... a solid day and a half without much moving at all.

I mow both of my neighbors on both sides of me. I then ride the "z" four houses down and cut/trim, then walk back down with the blower. What a easy few bucks. The other good thing, I have gotten a few mulch jobs, shrubs, etc... just by having my equipment in front of the house.

I have close to one day's worth nearby. The trick is to organize it so you can get them all in one day without any "must cut now" jobs that are further away.
