The grass is still growing like crazy here, but we had our first heavy frost this morning, it'll start slowing down now and leaves will be picking up...or falling down :D

    Stringblade,

Are you from Pittsburgh? What part are you from? I live and service in the South Hills.

Still mowing in Western NY. Contracts in Upstate and Adirondacks ended last week.. Not much growth lately with these 40 degree days and hard frosts every night

Still mowing here atleast this week maybe another depending on the temps. Have to get started on leaves pretty soon or they wont get done before it snows.

Some one more week, others into X-mas.
All depends, the cold slows it down, makes it go dormant. Wait and see.

    VA here.

The last mowing varies widely. All my customers will get at least one more mowing - schedule stretched out 2-3 weeks. The well maintained ones will be mowed past Thanksgiving. In some years, the last mowings are as late as December 15, but that depends so much on weather. No firm "stop" date for me.
