mowing trails

    I was asked to give a bid on 4 miles of trails 20 foot wide.I have a 2002 newholland tractor with a 72 in cut.The tractor is 33D that is a 4wd 33 hp. What price would u charge

    This may be a stupid question, but at what speed can you mow (on average) with that machine???
    Also, how often are they to be cut?..... any trimming?? obstacles?? (will anything such as a bridge or gate keep your particular machine from any areas to be mowed?)

    OK Lets say your tractor goes 4mph (conservative). You'll need to make 4 passes. 4 passes equals 4 hours. Do you know what your per/hr rate is?? I wouldn't touch this for less than $200/cut. Good luck!!

    No trim. There is a fence on one side far just about a half a mile but just cut as close as in can not trim. I say 90% is just strait out cutting.It far a horse trail.

    3 PT I own 3 acres on the trail myself but not 3 acres of the trail just 300 feet of it is my land.I do not do cutting far my living.I was just cutting my lot and was asked if i would like to put a bid in far the work.
