While not the best picture, mp's in a front yard. 8 on the zone. Picture is deceptive because the left side heads are evenly spaced, but appears not in the picture

Damn eagle eyes! Yup, 1804 prs/sam.

The sod wasn't the greatest when it was installed, but looks great now

Wait a minute, you're getting water on the concrete. I thought MPs were supposed to be sent down from the heavens and be the next almighty coming of preventive water wasting.

anyway.... looks like a sprinkler system. Yup, watering the grass alright. Was this a brand new install, or were you retrofitting a system?

Those MPR's sure are pretty to look at. :)

Maybe it's just me, but I like to keep my sprinklers at least a mow wheel or two away from any hardscape. Helps prevent damage (mower and string trimmers/edgers) and the inevitable "adjustment drift" that occurs when run over repeatedly by a mower.

True, I was'nt gonna say anything..I've been in trouble with my mouth this
past couple of weeks. We try to keep the heads 3" away from hardscape &
keep the lateral 8" out w/ thr. 90 pointed sideways, with a barbed ell swing
joint pointed towards the hardscape. Easy adjust..I don't care where heads
are, they're going to get hammered!:)

Easy does it, I'm still getting pms for my last comment about that!

  10. I installed some MPs myself today. 20 total on two poorly spaced zones in Plano, TX. Came out beautiful. Put sst MPs on the heads between the houses and find myself liking them now. No more prs heads though, strictly sams. Couldn't redo the back with them cuz the dogs chew the nozzles so back there yep usedBRASS NOZZLES:)
