We just recived this old mtd lawnflite. its a rear engine.
The carb linkages are off and we have some. but we arent sure where to put them. we managed to hook it up somehow and it runs beautifully, no burning oil or anything. but its not hooked up right. its got a vaccujet carb.
We cant find any good diagrams or anything of that sort.
We arent sure if we are missing any pieces.
Also, the choke flapper is cracked in half, and we glued it together with loctite glue, and installed it, but we arent sure if thats hooked up right either.:dizzy:
    Engine info:
    Model: 130902
    Type: 0439-01
    Code: 77020103

How much time are you willing to invest in this 29 year old engine/mower?

Maybe post some pictures of how you have things hooked up now?

We just have the governor hooked up at the moment.
Its actually gonna be a "racer on a budjet"
its not gonna be a USLMRA spec'd rig.
May have to put the mow deck on aand mow lawns to finace the project

I thought they had to actually have the deck on the machine to qualify for a race? Deck on, but no blades I thought?

bah. im just gonna use it to piss off the neigbors.
    and race honda civics.
I'd figured i'd post on here cuz it was originally a mower.
I managed to find a diagram but i am missing a linkage.
the choke will open with full throttle but not shut afterwards. maybe its that linkage that i am missing.
