Do you guys know anything about the MTD pro commercial walk behinds. I am looking at a 52" walk behind. Any info will greatly help.

I have a 48" hydro, don't use it much though, would rather ride then walk behind or ride on a sulky. But its been a good mower, use it on maybe 2 lawns. No problems with it, it has the 16 B/S engine.

I have some older Cub Cadet mowers that work great, never used the newer MTD or Cub Cadet mowers. BUT, I was talking to a fellow mower today and he said his Lesco mowers he bought, made by MTD, were constantly breaking down and falling apart.

    That's all I know.

we still use them and so far they work great. Only had to replace the transmission in the 52 once, (that was because I was fat and hauling myself on the sulky did it in for it), but other than that they are a great mower.

Don't spend over $2000 for one though. You should be able to get them at a local dealer for around $1800. (It's a steal)
