If you are signed up to Iron Planet. Go to the 08-07-08 auction results and go down to the skid steers.

There were some near new machines going dam cheap. The ASV's a lot of which sold with trailers brought around 13K.

The values seem down across the board regardless of color.

If your in the market for a machine and you don't mind used, now would seem a good time to pickup a machine.

Check it out. If nothing else it will give you an idea of what you machine may be worth at least through IP.

Hmmmm I see you do alot of checking on IP for ASV's. Very interesting. Just paint it power tan, maybe no one will notice. On second thought the smile on your face will be a dead give away:laugh:. Congrats on the new truck.

That was a good buy, it brought a little more than half what it was new.

Actually on the ASV thing, they come up for discussion a lot and so I thought I would mention the large number of them on Thurs. auction.

It would be nice if the MTL/CTL used values were a little more solid. These machines that sell for 50K new and bring 10K 4-5 years later. That hurts.

Well there is a bunch more ASV's on the next auction, again mostly 30-50's. There is a BC A300 07 model on there as well. Don't see many of those go through. It will be interesting to see what that brings.

There were one hell of a lot of Home Depot ASV's on IP too!

I have been kicking it around. When it gets a little closer I will see just what is on the sale. I like going out there for that sale. Not looking forward to 13 hour drive but its always a good time.

I went to Richie Bros. auction in Nashville a few weeks ago. Work trucks went cheap.
