So we had this tiny zone to pipe in today that I've been meaning to get done for nearly a month now (26 sprays heads on 1.5" valve).

We dug our 10" trenches, and they immediately filled up with water, thats how saturated the soil was.

Had to dig up and tie into existing 2" mainline. Drained about 4000'+ of filled mainline.

Anyways, we had to get it done today, or we couldnt get to it for 3 more weeks.

We made a mess, took us twice as long as it should have.

Nice root in the second picture. I hate those bad boys :)

I remember a day when it was raining so hard that the pipe was starting to float up in the trench, before we could backfill.

    Sometimes you just can't win.
