I want to bounce something off of you guys? I keep lowballing myself on my mulch bed projects and I am tired of kicking myself in the ass afterwards. I have a new project that I need to get done. I have a 15'x40' bed that has to be weedeated, sprayed out and mulched, she also wants me to trim 4 crape myrtles. I am gonna charge $70 dollars per load of mulch and it is gonna take right at 2 to do it. What would be a good overall estimate for this job? I would appreciate your help.

Sounds like you are going to need 3.7 cu. yds of mulch. Here in the Orlando, Fl area, it goes for around $21.00 cu.ft. That's a total of $77.70 less taxes. Add in labor and that should take care of it. I am new to figuring mulch jobs myself. I have a large on pending and do not want to burn myself.

I would be close to 375 based on 4 yds of mulch plus extras.

depends how far it is from my mulch supplier. I cant get less than 10 yards delivered.

I came up with 5.6 yards of mulch...Thats 3 inches thick minus some depending where the plant are I would order between 4 and 5 yards.

50-60 per yard and up installed depending on acsess.

Crepes priced on site when I see them.

Tyler is on track especially if you need to create a nice edge on the bed or the crepes are in bad shape.
