This is quite possibly the coolest piece of equipment that I have seen in operation. People dump the bagged, mulched, raked, blown etc leaves to the curb. The city sends around a little tractor with a big push/pull broom on it to get everything into the street. The city has this little leaf bailer that drives along at about 5 to 10 mph and bails (with twine) the leaves. It is a great time and labor saving machine. The bails are spit out the back and the front end loader with the forks picks a couple of them up and into a dump truck. The street cleaner follows up. No one is walking. They are very fast. I don't know the specs on it but it sure is cool to watch. I took some MPEG video. If you want to see it and have cable I'll send you a copy.
