Don't do bags for 20 yards.

I have bulk in Lothian I can deliver it for you if you need it

I have only used bulk so far but with a yard bagged @ $35 vs bulk @ $29 I'm thinking that the convenience of not shoveling mulch may make it worth the bags even for large jobs. Thoughts?

I used to get the mulch delivered to the site before I had a dump trailer so I was really only making money on the install part. Now with the dump trailer I am able to fit 10 yards in it and get double and triple ground mulch for $25 per yard from a local landscaper. Also if you do get it delivered make sure you tell the customer there will be 20 yards of mulch in there driveway when the get home, and also make sure they are OK with having mulch on the driveway because I have had a few that don't like that. Another thing is if you only have a utility trailer is to get 5 yards at a time because you will still want room on your trailer to fit at least one mower. That is a mistake I made one time and you don't want to wake up in the morning to realize you can't service your weekly accounts because there is mulch on the whole trailer.

Bulk is much faster for me. 20 yds is 180 bags. 9 bags a yard

Not many people have a blower around here. I don't know of any blower trucks. A few company's have trailer mounted ones but they won't subcontract for you

They are $1500 a week for a rental last I checked.

We have 15 or so of the top 50 companies in our area. Denison, brick man, Mchale, etc.

No large blower trucks. Something I'm looking into lol

Denison has a few. Most of them are smaller guys.

Large companies stick to commercial. I worked for a $5m company we had less than 40 accounts. 10 were residential owners of our commercial properties. Everything else we commercial.

We had a blower there. We had one site that took over 150 yards of mulch that we did in a day lol
