What do you charge per yard to install mulch? And what do you pay for it?

depends on rather I have it blown in or manually put it. Also how far it has to be moved from pile to bed. If blown in 35$ per yd if installed by hand 45 to 50 depending. It really depends on a ton of different things..

I pay between 11.50 to 12.50 depending on what part of town i'm in.

Measure the beds with a measuring wheel.I use this formula:

Lenth X Width X Depth of Mulch
    Divided By 324
    Equals yards of mulch needed

I charge 60 yard installed. I pay 10 yard for double or tripple hardwood.

Just a note: Length and Width are in feet; Depth is in inches.

Another note: Please check out this website for information regarding overmulching: http://www.psu.edu/ur/NEWS/news/overmulching2.html

I see alot of people who think more mulch is better - I know this was not the topic of discussion, but I thought I would bring it up.

    length x width divided by 100 for a 2-3 " layer

that gives you your cubic yards
