mulch job pricing please help

    i have to price on a mulching job for an apartment building for removing the old and edging beds and placing new mulch down. ill need 12yds was thinking about $1158 wondering what you guys think of this price. need to give a bid by tomorrow evening. please help

    No need to remove old mulch unless he really wants it done... but it will cost alot. Do not forget disposal fees if he really wants it out of there. I usually charge $75 -$80 per yard including edging. I would be about $960 without removing old mulch and aslong as the beds were not to far from the mulch pile. If it is a long distance, charge more. Once again no need to remove old mulch....If he wants it take his money and charge alot... will not be easy or quick.

    Appartments can be a pita with some of the requests they give, but if they want the old mulch removed, charge them accordingly. My figures are as follows
    Removal of old mulch (12 yd) 6 hours @ $35 hr = $210
    Disposal fees = $28.50
    12 yard mulch @ $36 yd = $432
    labor to install mulch (12 yd) 6 hr @ $35 hr = $210
    Total - $880.50
    Didnt figure the edging in though
