I'm new to the Lawn Maintenance business so forgive me if this is an obvious question.

Do ya'll charge extra to bag a customer's yard? or is it the same price as mulching their grass?

    Thanks in advance!

If it takes me longer, you are gonna get charged more. And, more than likely, it will take me longer to bag a lawn than mulch it.

Anything extra is charged!! I sway my customers away from bagging because it isn't as good for the yard and is more trouble for me.

Big difference for bagged vs. discharge.

    My example.
    $20 stop fee + $1 per thou.
To bag it, $20 stop fee and $2 per thou.

i love the customers that want you to come out every other week and bag.

    not worth the trouble.

I use the same as Willis. It works and also deters them from wanting it bagged. explain to them the clippings actually supply nutrients to their turf.

I will avoid bagging unless it needs to be done because of a mistake on my part. I will still charge extra because its so time consuming.
