I live in west michigan, and am curious if anyone can give me a tip on where to buy bulk much at cheaper prices. We currently use about 300 yds per year, and pay 18.75 for cedar mulch... I would appreciate any money saving tips. thanks

have you tried going to a local saw mill and seeing what they can do for you? if that doesnt work how about going to your local nursery and see if they can get it by the semi load. I get mine thru my nursery. save me a bunch of $$$$$

we actually do get it by the semiload usually, but prices change som much. I was wondering if anyone new of a spot like up in canada or northern michigan that would save money...

We buy our mulch from a company in Poland Maine. The name of the company is Jolly Gardener. They make all kinds of mulches and sell by the semi load. However I'm not sure if they would go that far. I'm sure if the price is right, some arrangement can be made for delivery though. Their number is 1-207-998-5580. Ask for their commercial list and product brochures. P.s. Your price in the $18 range per yard for 300 yards is high by my standards depending on what your buying. We buy dark bark in as small as 5 yard loads for $15 per yard with delivery included. Of course the red dyed stuff ( which I hate) is more and our price goes down the larger the load. Hope this helps...
