So is mulching filed in the maintenance or landscape category?

I guess if I did all the maintenance on the property mulch would be included. Mulch does need to be maintained... But if it were a one time thing, or they had someone else take care of the lawn care side of things, I guess mulch would be in the landscape category...

    Whats the view?

I'm re-organizing my books, just wondering

I would say landscape b/c it is something you add to your landscape to enhance it IMO.

However, some could say it is maintenance since it is something your plants live in.

If you're not installing a new bed and only topdressing (annually), its maintenance. You'll agree w/ me if you have worman's comp. since the rate for maintenace is almost half the rate for landscaping (at least in our great state)!

I got quoted 3.39 per thousand for maintenance and 11.14 for landscaping. Not too difficult to tell ya which one webe under...
