If the customer has 16 yards of mulch delivered, and you are just spreading it, what do you charge per yard for spreading.

I would be around $600 without seeing it.

How many man hours will it take you to complete the job?

Multiply that number by your hourly rate.

I'm guessing 9 to 10 man hours, the back yard is gated. Atleast half of the mulch goes back there.Somebody local told me $30-$35 per yard.

I have a 14 yard job to do this month. $400 to spread. Beds are very sparcely planted and accessible by tractor. Getting a 25% markup on the mulch also.

My lord have mercy you folks are lowballers.

Since you're nit buying the mulch It would be $70/yard. $1120 would be my price.

I charge $100/yard for mulch. I GET $100/yard for mulch. I live in Cincinnati.

I usually charge $75 a yard if I deliver. But this is the first time I'm only spreading and they had their own mulch delivered.

But I'm also only used to doing two to three yard jobs.

There is no way you could get $1000 for less than a day's work around here for labor only.

Take off what you usually pay for mulch and pull be close. They're probably only going to pay 6-800.

Most people that have it delivered are cheap
