Is that on leaves too? How much did yours cost?

Yes,leaves too. Turns them to dust with a couple of passes.I think I paid $150-160,but that was including the anti blowout baffles.

Is this the mulching kit that has a whole plate with two large deflectors up front and then five of Toro's "patented" kickers you bolt in ?

Does it do as well as the Exmark kit on tall grass?

Mine has two thick plastic baffles that bolt on and it also came with the two metal anti-blowout shields for the front. The shields aren't used with the mulching kit,but for discharging only.
The baffles totally enclose the front of the blades. The factory baffles take care of the back.
Can't compare them to Exmark.Never owned one.It does mulch tall grass though.Mulched tall field fescue in the spring with them.Had to make three passes, but the grass was over a foot tall.
Doesn't do well on some of the spring weeds we get here, like henbit.Have to take them off in the spring time.
