I'm not sure if my last question went through so here it is agai. I've been looking at equipment where the heads can be interchanged for edging, cultivating of gardens etc. Would you recommend such equipment or just go with dedicated products. If anyone has used these interchangable products I'd like to know how they worked for you.

I use Stihl so I can interchange the heads, I bought a echo last year but I haven't tried to use any other head except the trimmer yet.

But my Stihl is 10 years old and I use it for weed eating, bush trimming, driveway/sidewalk edging, tilling.

IMO have both. Changing the edger and trimmer on every yard would be a pita as well as putting a lot of wear on the connection point. I have a Kombi and love it. I use it mostly with the hedge trimmer and pole saw. I have the edger and trimmer as well if I should need a second tool on a large job.
