    Exmark,

I had debated whether or not to post this b/c from one side it's incredibly mundane; but from the other side, it's a safety issue that I thought you might want to be made aware of.

I had the ROPS installed on my HP recently. After I latch the seatbelt and tighten it around my waiste, after mowing for a little while, the seatbelt becomes completely slack (still latched, but no tension).

From examining the seat belt toungue latch, my guess is that it has a faulty spring such that it can't appropriately clamp the belt.

I called Seats Incorporated and asked them to send me a replacement tongue latch, but they told me I need to go thru my dealer. So, I called my dealer and asked them to order it for me.

    BigDave,

Unfortuneatly we've seen a few of these. I would recommend having the dealer order one in just as you did.

    Thanks
