Traded my F 250 in for a 2011 F150 5.0. It's going to pull a black 5X14 trailer that fits totally in the airstream of the truck gross tow weight 2500#

I'm going to dust off the plans I had for high gas prices back in 2008 and impliment them shorty. They include trying to get more work done on trips and a 6 by 12 trailer instead of my 6.5 by 16 tandem trailer.

Wonder how many guys are going to install that gas saving device that all the hoopla was about a few years ago?

You might be a little confused.....that truck is overhead which you just increased by a bunch that will offset gas saving for several years.

The overhead remains the same, the fuel saving makes up the difference in truck payment , and the write off keeps me out of the next tax bracket:dancing: Besides I like it more, what's that worth?

If your truck was paid for you didn't do yourself a favor, now you are in the hole. Now you have truck notes unless you paid cash, and even then you just spent money to save a little on gas. If the truck wasn't paid for chances are you are now upside down and are going to be paying for it for the next five years or more and still buying gas.
