My eyes are full of leaves/clippings---what to do?

    Wearing safety glasses---but not enough to keep the crud out! Windy here today. My eyes hurt---lots of crud in them and dried out.

    Let me know what you wear to keep the leaves/clippings out of your eyes. I was thinking motorcycle goggles may help.

    One day my son left his swimming goggles in my truck so I tried them on durring a messy job like that. Worked pritty well except they will fog if your really huffin it.

    I just say a few choice words and keep working. The wind is my biggest enemy during the Fall....never blowes with you, always against you...

    I think glasses do a good job of keeping things out your eyes.:confused:

    No, they really don't especially when you're dealing with dust, ground up leaves, etc.

    The crap goes right around your safety glasses.

    I basically swear a lot and deal with it.

    Usually one of the tactics that works well for a situation like this is pulling a womens nylon over your head. It really keeps the dust out of your face but still allows complete vision and ventilation.

    when i bought my redmax weedeater they gave me some gogles that work very well.

    better hope there hasn't been a bank robbery in the area or a rash of burglaries or rapes!
