They are awfully expensive, so I made up my own.....
Looks good. I've got an aluminum one but havent put it back on, not sure i like it.
Looks good, bet its much better than buying a backrack
Looks good. How much did it cost you to make?
It was about $45 in steel, plus a couple bucks for the wire and gas in the welder. The biggest thing was time, the outside posts are angled up with the cab, so the mesh had to be cut out exactly and then welded in place. It was about 10 hrs worth of cutting and welding, but i'm not very fast. Way better than a backrack though, and I don't have all that much to do in the winter anyway.
I sod my cows, so this was my gift to myself.
Nice job, I'm looking to make up one for my truck. Nice job!!!!
this might be a dumb question but what is the main purpose of that?
Prevents your back window from getting cracked/broken from equipment and they look cool. Nice work
To hinder the view out the back window!!! Helps make it hard to back in a trailer, gives a good distraction, helps snow plowers back into light poles, cars, ect....
No really it's to keep from getting a broken window from things in the bed or for landscapers that load rock and such into their bed, ect.... Like promower said...
thats what i figured
