My new grasshopper 428D pics

    Nice mower, I think you will be pleased with it's performance. I owned 2 midmount GH's in the past and I'll probably go back to them for next year. There great machines.

    Nice mower, I like the lights. do those come standered? Or did you have them added?

    The halogen lights were optional along with the tailor made wide boy seat with suspension. The lights are as bright as a cars lights on low beam.

    Sounds like you can do some seriose night mowing! Better get some big commercail stuff to cut at night :rolleyes:

    Why do you have the weight kit on the front? Just curious...

    I would assume he has the wieght kit to offset the wieght of the bagger. That is what they are for on most mowers. Otherwise they tend to whellie or bounce up and down alot more.

    The weight kit is to counterbalance the weight of the rear collection system when filled with grass and leaves. It especially helps when climbing steeper hills with the bagger on and prevents it from flipping over.
