My new mower

    Well, it's an '04 but it's new to me. I picked it up yesterday. Only has 250 hours on it. I can't wait to start using it! Played with it in my yard yesterday....I really like the way a stander manuevers.:usflag:

    Looks nice, what size engine does it have and how big is the deck and what did you have to pay for it?

    It has a 19hp Kawasaki...48" deck. I paid $3800 plus got a mulch kit and about 3 sets of extra blades.:usflag:

    Looks like a nice machine let me know if it hurts your back to operate, I'm thinking of looking to pick one up but don't want it if it puts strain on my back

    I havent ran it for a long time yet, but I imagine it'll be similar to using a sulky. :usflag:

    Let me ask you a question...

    I was at Lesco the other day and had a look at the Great Dane version in 48".

    On it, I noticed that on the discharge side the deck would not cut out to the edge of the tire. In other words the deck didn't stick out as far as the right rear tire.

    I'm wondering if yours is like that also, or if it's something new since ACI bought Great Dane?

    The deck on this one goes just to the tires edge. I dont know if all Deeres are that way or not...also this one is an '04.:usflag:
