My North Carolina trip

  1. System I installed in North Carolina a few years back had been struck by lightning on my last trip, the lighting ran in on zone # 3 wire and fried the main board and the # solenoid. Replaced a Rain Bird 24mc that lasted 10 years, unlike the two RC that lasted only months, with a Rain Bird 32MC for future expansion. The property is on 90+ acres with a very nice view of the BlueRidge Mountains. On this last trip I installed a remote pigtail and made checking out the system a pleasure...

I've always liked the 32MC...But that is a spendy controller :)

I can only see 16 zones being used in there, why double the capacity?

EDIT: Actually, I'm looking at a 24MC circuit board but the cabinet says 32MC?

    What?

That is one of the easier controllers to hookup. Double speaker wire set up and valve test for remote power. What does your helper think of that remote?
