My Sentar with a Kawasaki 23 HP engine loses power shortly after the blade is engaged. What could be the problem?

wrights and kawis have some common issues we see alot. first check and replace your fuel filter. the kawi filters clog easy and starve for fuel after running a few minutes specially under load. also kawis can have coil issues dropping spark to one cylinder when hot. kawi's also are known for having rich carb conditons, make sure you have the correct air filter (there are 2 styles for 2 diff carbs they use). they also have service bulletins out to use a hotter ngk bpr2es plug to help burn off excess fuel and lenthen a breather line off the top of the carb (outer vented carbs only) to the back of the unit away from any cooling air flow coming from the flywheel so as not to influence the carbs bowl air pressure and make it run to rich. goodluck
