Taking down a hounded or so Pines and getting the area ready for a shop.
The Kubota works great on this size trees. Most are around 12 inch caliper with some bigger and some smaller.
Having the excavator too help the Takeuchi has been wonderful.
It really helps me keep everything orderly and the logs stacked neatly for the pulp wooders who will be here next week.
Here are a few pics from the start of the job.

I also spent last weekend cleaning the Takeuchi and resealed the Cab were they are prone too leak.
The cab has much less dust entering in it now.
I wished I would have done this last year.LOL

Nothing a pine tree wants more than to get 50 feet tall and start dropping 200 pound limbs on the roof of your house...

Farming is tough in my area so most of the Farmers went too Timber farming.
This tract was planted but was never select cut so they are weak.
Some will go Super Pulpwood but most will just be pulpwood.
super is bringing about 25 a ton and pulp is bringing around 15 a ton.
In Georgia they could turn a crop in 20 years too board timber.
But the lumber industry is in remission.:)

Wheres the Takeuchi at. I didn't see it in the pictures. Also would you take some pictures of where you sealed up the cab. I haven't had mine in any heavy dust yet to see where it leaks. I would like to be able to seal it up before it gets in the cab too heavy.

Is the Takeuchi an excavator or skidsteer? I have the TB135 excavator and love it.
