Work still looks good, You must have a really good crew.
Just one question for you though. I see you have mulch up around the tree trunks, and although that looks great, I have heard that that is the worst thing you can do to a tree.
Is this true or not?
its only bad if you make a "volcano" and cover up the tree's root flare.
Like Barrett Landscaping said, you don't want to make a volcano around the trunk.
Piling a lot of mulch around the tree trunk can lead to disease, insect and many other problems. I have trained my guys to always pull 1-2" of mulch around the tree trunk if needed, so that the fresh mulch never sits to high around the tree trunk. Most of the time we don't have to pull any mulch back since the rain, all year around weed pulling and fall clean up usually gets rid of most of the mulch anyways. Thanks for looking!
Installed a 15 gallons fuel tank inside my box truck today. I custom made the brackets to make sure they were strong and done the way I wanted. They are both bolted and welded since this thing is going to weight about 140lbs when full. Its going to be used for MIXED fuel only. We have a 33 Gallon tank mounted outside of the truck with regular gas for the machines with a 13 gal per minute electric pump. Inside tank is gravity feed. Let me know what you guys think. Also picked up a new extended hedge trimmer yesterday.
Nice setup for the mowers and the 2 stroke gas. Quick question, the gas tank that's inside the truck is that the tank from northern Tool, if so how do you like it. I am thinking of buying one.
Thanks in advance for any input.
That is a very nice setup. Where did you get those tanks and if you dont mind me asking how much did they cost you.
Sorry did not mean to post that twice.
