My Vintage RedMax Hedge Trimmer

    Here it is. It was purchased for my father's business in the late 80s. She starts on the first pull every time and will run all day. I haven't used it in quite some time due to a cracked primer bulb that I just didn't take the time to fix. Well, today I fixed it. Had to take off the gas tank to unscrew the old primer bulb though. And that screw was stripped out pretty bad (I whipped out the vice grips). She started right up and I trimmed some nasty bushes. I love her.

    wow that is old for a trimmer, looks like it was well taken care of.

    well its not that old but I got a 1995 snapper walkbehind, that gets used everyday.

    I know that this is a very old thread but I have to comment on this. I did not know that redmax was around that long ago I thought they use to be knowen as green machienes, but this just goes to show you how long a redmax will last

    Those older snappers were built like tanks imo.

    Forsure I got one from a relative that was made in 1985 in 2003 and I used it as a regurlar mower on 3 accounts for 3 years then as a spare for one until I got my ferris
