Can you get more of a close-up? Is the foliage silver-blue?

thanks everyone! this looked like nothing in my books. the versions they have pictured are triple clustters or over 2 feet tall. new customer wanted to know what it was and will the spent blooms re- bloom. it is looking like a late spring bloomer . most have spent. should i dead head and how far back? one book said down to the thicker areas, for these thats about 5" down
