Attended the NC State Turf Management field day yesterday, in the Sandhills of North Carolina, near Pinehurst.

Learned alot, networked a little. Met and talked with some very knowledgeable researchers and lawn professionals.

It was cool to be out on the research grounds. Acres and acres of greens and fairways, lots of different warm season turfs. (Their cool season research station in in Raleigh.)

I believe they had around 250 people there for the day.

Had a typically Southern lunch - fried chicken, fried catfish, fried okra, hushpuppies, slaw, and sweet tea lol.

If your local University offers this type of thing I'd recommend going if at all possible!

Yes sir, next year's field day will be held at the Raleigh research center.

Look forward to meeting you there!
